10 Nov OUT WITH THE OLD. IN WITH THE NEW.
By Laura Wallace | November 10, 2016
Somehow in a flash, we’ve made it all the way to the end of another year. There’s something about approaching the last few weeks of a year that get our thinking caps going about our business. We reflect on the past year and start getting pumped up about the next. This is also a perfect time to think about your marketing – what worked and what didn’t and how you can expand upon it next year.
At Worx, we’re doing the same thing. Not only for ourselves but for our clients. Holiday promotions are in full swing, marketing strategies for the new year are being put into place and budgets are turning over.
As you’re rounding out your year, here are a few things to ask yourself about your branding and marketing:
- What are we doing really well to market ourselves that we should continue to do?
- What are we not marketing well and how should we do that?
- What is one thing we’re not doing that we should be?
- What current marketing efforts are not working that should be redefined?
In addition, think about your products and services:
- What are we offering that people can’t get enough of?
- What are we offering that no one buys?
- What would we like to offer that we’re not currently?
- What areas have we not served that we would like to?
Once you’ve compiled your list, we encourage you to overlap the two. Consider marketing and branding for the areas that you’re currently not exploring, how you can reallocate your dollars from marketing efforts that didn’t work, into ones that have a better opportunity and how you can streamline your services to focus on the things that you do exceptionally well.
Often times for small business owners it can become overwhelming to think about what you need to do and how you’re going to do it. Have no fear, that’s what we’re here for. Just as you’re an expert in your industry, so are we. We love to get under the hood of your business and help pull those ideas and turn them into tangible and marketable products.
Perhaps you’ve been marketing yourself on your own and you’re just too busy or have recognized that it needs to be done but you’re not the person to do it. Maybe you’re expanding your business and need help supporting that through your brand. We’ve got ya covered. It’s businesses like yours that see the most success with the transition.
It may be the end of this year, but there are a lot of great ones ahead of us all. If you’re ready to transition into working with a team, shoot us an email at hello@worxgd.com or give us a buzz at 717-643-1141. Let’s brand your gutsy™.
